My wife and I have known Mari Kate, and Andy for over three years and, given the circumstances of our acquaintance, have had an opportunity to observe their caring and loving parenting style. I firmly believe there is no better family in the world to raise a child than Mari Kate and Andy. 

We met Andy, Mari Kate, and their daughter Mâeve through school. However, our first introduction to them is a perfect example of the types of values they hold as a family and instill in their children. Our oldest son was set to join a new school and had no friends and no previous contacts or acquaintances. Mari Kate and Andy, whose daughter is in our son's grade, voluntarily reached out to our family to welcome us and get the children together so that our son would have a familiar face on his first day of school. 

This thoughtfulness, empathy, and generosity are the values that we have seen Mari Kate, and Andy emphasize in their family and instills in their daughter. It is evident in everything they do and every interaction they have, whether volunteering as a family for church and school functions or helping neighbors and friends.

I hope this example of their values help these two loving parents in their efforts to adopt. It is difficult to express in words sufficiently my hope and prayer that they are provided the opportunity to pour out their abundant love and devotion upon another child. Still, there is no family in the world more deserving than Mari Kate and Andy.
